Helena Hartlová graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague. She has translated and interpreted both to and from the English language for over three decades, with more than forty published translations of both fiction and non-fiction books (see the Portfolio).
She is also a co-author of two editions of dictionaries of psychology published in Czech by Portál (see the Portfolio).
Her clients include the British Embassy, the Judicial Academy, the Probation and Mediation Service, ministries of finance and justice, international banks, and many other private, governmental and non-governmental agencies and organizations. She has interpreted, both simultaneously and consecutively, for dozens of conferencies and training projects.
